It is important to understand that we have the ability to accomplish goals if we put our minds to it. The key is to have the right mindset when it comes to the concept
The major factor that gets in our way of our goals and what we do want is that we are too consumed with thoughts where we are focusing on what we do not want.
We do not want to fail, we do not want to look stupid in front of our peers, we do not want to adapt to change, we do not want to be in debt, and so on and on.
I truly do believe that we are a product of what we think. I do also believe that “what we think about, we bring about” into our lives whether we want it or not.
What keeps us stuck from moving forward with achieving our goals is that we tend to focus on negative beliefs of failure and what we do not want.
When this happens, it is really important to catch ourselves when we are in the mode of focusing on what we do not want.
So if the concept of “what we think about, we bring about” is true, then wouldn’t it make sense to instead focus on what we do want?
Focusing on what we do want is not rocket science at all, but, for some reason by default, it seems that most of us are wired to worry about the worst potential things that can happen instead of focusing on how things will work out for the best.
As
We have the power to focus our energy on negative thoughts (which is what we do not want which is the opposite of faith) as well as having the power of focusing on positive thoughts (which is what we do want which is applying your faith.) Choosing your thoughts is your decision so choose wisely.
It is also important to recognize that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. Your inner world is equivalent to inner thoughts.
For example, broke people have broke thoughts, winners have winning thoughts, and losers have loser thoughts.
When you recognize that there is a battlefield of the mind and that you have to learn to master the inner game of your mind, you will have the ability to unlock your full potential and have bigger chances of achieving your goals.
So in this blog post, I would like to point out some major factors that can be followed in order to create the right mindset that can lead to achieving your goals.

These factors will also auto correct your mindset to help you focus on what you do want vs. focusing on what you do not want.
The first thing you want to do is to establish a morning routine. That means you may have to get up earlier in the morning in order for this to work. This is very important because the first 2 hours of your day helps set the course of your entire day.
If you can take at least 30 minutes to an hour or two before you get up for self development, this can help establish positive momentum at the start of your day.
Meditate
Meditation is a great way to start your day. It clears your mind from any negative thoughts and it helps you to focus and have clarity and positivity. It changes your vibration for the day and can allow you to have a moment to dismiss any fears or stress etc. Meditating should become an ongoing routine, and over time, you will get to a better place mentally and physically if done correctly.
I personally recommend a book that talks more
I also recommend a personal meditation that I use daily to help start my day. It is free and you can access the recording here.
Create Goals
Goals are so important because it is the roadmap to your future of what you do want. When creating goals, it is so important to write and break your goals down. Here are some important questions you want to ask yourself when creating your goals:
- What do I want?
- Who do I want to become?
- Why do I want it?
- How could I get it?
- How would it impact me if I stay in the same place and never move towards my goal?
- When will this happen?
Visualization/Create A Vision Board/Plan
Once you have established your goals, after meditating or while meditating, see yourself as if you have already accomplished your goal.(Yes, go into daydream mode)
As you are mentally seeing yourself already accomplishing your goal, ask yourself the following questions:
- How does it make me feel now that I have accomplished this goal?
- How are others seeing me now that I have achieved this goal/ who is happy for me?
- How has my lifestyle changed?
These are just a few questions that you can ask yourself, but get creative. Do whatever you have to do to see yourself accomplishing that goal of winning a competition, getting a bonus, buying a house, or whatever it may be for you. Make sure you feel good about your goal as you visualize it as if you have it now.
Creating a vision board is a great way to help with the visualization process. You can make a collage where you can get a board and cut out and paste images that represent your goals.
When creating a vision board, it is important to put it somewhere where you can see it daily to remind you of your daily goals. You can also achieve the same results of a vision board by making sticky notes with your goals on it and place it somewhere like on your mirror or your desk for example to remind you daily of your goals.
Below is an example of my vision board:
Positive Affirmations
When it comes to positive affirmations, I recommend doing this once you have established your goal, meditated and gone through the visualization process. Next, you want to write out positive affirmations that support your goals and visualization process. For example, write a 90 day goal in present tense:
(Write Future Date of Goal) Now that I have achieved __(your goal)__, I am now ….____(result)___,
(June/1/2019) Now That I have achieved my goal of losing weight, I am now more confident than ever.
It may seem impossible at first but if you become obsessed with staying focused on your goal, taking these steps daily, and stating your positive affirmations daily to ingrain in your mind subconciously, will increase your chances to eventually overcome your goal.
Overall, it is important to remember that thoughts become things and what we think about it, we bring about. If you believe these statements to be true, then do these things I mentioned daily. Get obsessed with focusing on your goals and apply your faith daily and start seeing the unseen with the visualization process.
Make sure you have gratitude daily in general about everything you can no matter what situation you are in. You especially need to have gratitude for achieving your goals, even if you have not achieved them yet. Doing this daily is a true statement of applying your faith.
Remember that setting and achieving goals is a process, so even if it seems impossible to achieve them, keep focusing and stay positive.
