When you work from home, being comfortable is key and you may want to consider having a wardrobe that is versatile and convenient. For example, even though you may work from home, you may leave throughout the day either to run errands, or going out for lunch etc. You may have something on comfortable but you can also have something that maybe you can easily dress up if you do not want to look to overly comfortable out in public. You can use accessories to help dress up your outfit throughout the day if needed. This would also apply if you do video and live recordings or webinars etc. The main focus is to have the ability to style your outfit as easily as possible.

I understand how working from home, you may not feel the need to have to go out of your way to get all dressed up even when you are just running a quick errand. Trust me, I completely understand, I used to be the one that you would never be caught not wearing heels but now that I work from home, I am the comfort queen. If your wardrobe is nothing but comfortable clothing suitable for working from home, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you are looking to build your work from home outfits, then you can focus on stylish and comfy outfits that works in and out your home as well.
Beware: Don’t Allow Being Too Comfortable Interrupt Your Daily Self Care
I know at times when working from home, it is so easy to fall into the hot mess trap of not having your physical appearance together. If you are also a work from home mom and you have to tend to children or a child throughout the day, it can seem overwhelming to focus on your business or job while working from home, keeping your house, the children, and your self care and appearance together.
I tend to struggle with keeping myself out of the comfort zone at times. Since working from home, I no longer have to go to the office and having to have a wardrobe full of heels, blazers, blouses, and dress pants etc. Having the ability to be in sweats and tshirts is my new wardrobe. Of course I still have to make myself presentable for any business meetings on Zoom for example and video recording etc.
Building a neutral work from home outfit wardrobe that is still trendy yet comfy and presentable in public is the best work from outfit idea that works best personally for me.
If you have a nice trendy jumpsuit or dress etc.. and if you have to jump on a Zoom call, if you feel the need to dress it up, you can simply grab a coordinating blazer, scarf, or add accessories and you are good to go!
Overall I love the flexibility of having the ability to choose how you would like to dress on a day to day basis when working from home. Dress based off of what works best for your or how you are feeling for the day. I hope these work from home outfit ideas are helpful.
